Rotary Club of Everett
PRE- MEETING/MEETING TIDBITS:
Late this morning President Kelli Thode notified her “on deck person” Ryan Willis that she was sick and couldn’t “come to bat” today, Ryan had a banking commitment and couldn’t be at the meeting either so Past President Michael Kvistad being “in the hole” as the third batter up prepared quickly, ran a great meeting and I’d say he hit it out of the park.
MEETING:
Past President Michael led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and into our 28th meeting of our year and our 5,628th meeting of the Rotary Club of Everett. There were 36+/- Rotarians and guests in attendance and at least 1 ZOOMER.
THOUGHT OF THE DAY:
Krissy Davis quoted Martin Luther King who said: “Everybody can be great… because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated in love.”

Krissy ran out of time last week during her Puget Sound Kidney Center presentation on kidney disease. Today she shared an important show and tell item that indicates the total amount of salt one show limit themselves to daily. Her vile of salt contained 3,200 mg which looked like 3/8” of salt in a 1’ diameter glass container. Watch your intake.
Past President Neil Angst donated $50.00 in the name of Jerry Tucker as a participation award for the Oregon Ducks having been in the college football playoffs.
Past President Will McMahan, a proud alumnus from the University of Indiana, made the bell ring with his $100.00. Congratulations to his college football
champions.
Henry Janaki’s friend who passed away last summer in a logging accident had two young boys that Henry had the opportunity to take care of last weekend. It sounded like they had a lot of fun and adventures that resulted in multiple changes out of muddy and wet clothes. Those were the days.
